  4. Select Apps from Unknown Sources to enable this option

  10. Select Open to launch Downloader

  14. Now you need to enter a URL. The one that has to be typed in depends on the version of Kodi that you want to install. The current stable version is Kodi Krypton and for that one, you need to enter the below URLs:

  16. Once Kodi has been downloaded, you can click Install on Kodi setup page
  17. The installation process will start on your Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick device
  18. Select Open once Kodi is installed.
  19. Then you will see Kodi homescreen. Exit Kodi to go back to Fire TV Home Screen
  20. Click Delete to remove the Kodi installation file
  21. Click Delete once more.
  22. Now, go to the Amazon device’s Home Screen
  23. Next, you need to press down the Home button on the device’s remote until you see a screen showing a shortcut to your Apps Library.
  24. Highlight Kodi and select Move so that the application list goes to the front.
  25. Now, press the Select button on the remote control, choosing where you want the Kodi shortcut to be added.
  26. Now you should see the Kodi shortcut on your Fire TV or Firestick Home screen. It will appear under Apps & Games.

  1. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources in Fire TV Settings
  2. Install FireDL from the Amazon App Store
  3. Open FireDL

For this option you need an Android tablet or smartphone.

  2. Go to the About tab and take note of the IP address of Fire TV
  3. Install Apps2Fire and Kodi on an Android device using Google Play
  4. Enter the IP address of your Fire TV into Apps2Fire

  1. Go to Settings and enable Apps from Unknown Sources
  2. Install Downloader application from the app store and launch it

  4. Open AppStarter
  5. Click the Updates button located on the left side of AppStarter
  6. Select the Install Button on the right-hand side of where Kodi appears.
